B is for the Broadband Expansion Act being killed on the floor by its own party

C is for Cruz and Hawley hiding from Judiciary committee the meeting before Thanksgiving

D is for Dune, the worst possible book to filibuster with

E is for Every time a Republican used a point of privilege because they were “hot” or “cold”

F is for Fudge exploding at Senator Cornyn

G is for Grades from the Washington Watch freaking many senators out

H is for Hirono sending out the Democratic strategy instead of a press release

I is for Interracial marriage getting blocked by Senators in interracial marriages themselves

J is for Jonah Goldberg’s iconic hashtags, #lazyliberalmindset was my personal favorite

K is for King’s lobster tie making an appearance every floor session

L is for Lee who missed every single committee, caucus, and floor meeting

M is for McConnell’s slow southern drawl that only seems to make an appearance during floor sessions

Honorable mention: Markey’s butchered Boston accent we heard only once

N is for Nothing better than floor session ending on time

O is for One question press conferences

P is for “Peanut butter sauce, not peanut butter”

Q is for Quorum being called by Cornyn three times during Budget committee

R is for Roel Espino trying to incite another insurrection

Honorable mention: Rand Paul voting against everything due to “reckless spending”

S is for Sasse’s many scandals and downfall

T is for Twitter feuds

U is for Unanimous consent being removed in the middle of floor session

V is for Very long floor sessions

W is for the World Cup, which every Senator appeared to prioritize over the budget

X is for Scott’s Xmas hat

Y is for You all giving us journalists something to write about every week

Z is for Zero work getting done in Judiciary when Cornyn and Cruz are there
